Can Code Combat Crime?

Here’s an interesting little video about how websites SHOULD store your password. The trouble is I don’t know how you know which websites do it like this! I don’t think you need to understand the maths to get the idea, but let me know if we should talk about this more?

  1. Very interesting! I think they should to it with more websites. But what if you forget your password and there’s no button saying “Forgot your password”


  2. That is actually quite interesting. The Hashing Function is a very good way to make sure that no one can get into your profile on “Insta-Thing”.Like he said, let’s hope that they make even more better solutions to this.
